Dare 2 "Fail"

Updated: Aug 17, 2019

Saying the word failure causes a negative reaction in most people. But, why???

We've all been there. We've all experienced failure. We've all been ashamed of it. Why does the shame and/or fear affect our lives so greatly?

Most of us have been taught from a very early age to stay as far away from failures as possible, and to strive only for success. But what if I told you that the biggest part of being successful and obtaining success is right through the uncertain and scary path of failure? With failure, comes knowledge and real growth. Experiencing failure helps you to gain a better understanding of why you do the things that you do, and recognize the areas that you need to change. On this path is where all of the lessons happen and where true growth occurs leading you to your definition of success.

Failure is not bad... It's necessary!

For every dream there is going to be great resistance. Negative things and people will show up as you move your life from one level to the next. Get comfortable with the resistance and with failure. You must embrace this part of your life and use it as a growth tool in order for you to move past it. You have all that you need inside of you. Just get up and keep moving forward.

#DareTribe I would love to hear your thoughts on your relationship with being (good) selfish...good, bad or otherwise. Please comment below and go out there and #Dare2Be!
